Clone of Part 2 - Aging in Place: The Social Determinants of Health
One of the most difficult aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic was the isolation many elderly patients encountered, whether in long-term care facilities, or even in their own homes. Between families’ genuine concerns about the well-being of their aging loved ones and the desire of many older persons to maintain independent lives, coupled with the increase in America’s aging population, it is anticipated that in the coming years, more patients will attempt to age in place: continue the aging process in their own homes.
Join us as a panel of physician and legal experts discuss the complexities of caring for elderly patients in the home setting, address the liability risks associated with this care environment, and offer strategies to mitigate the risks associated with caring for the patient aging in place.
